At DIGEL – The Menswear Concept, we are focusing our efforts on complete looks like never before. Outfits rather than single pieces are the order of the season across all product groups, from sports jackets to trousers, from scarves to shoes.
More than ever, stylishly elegant combinations are in demand for Autumn/Winter 2019/20. The style is relaxed – DIGEL goes casual – yet challenging. Suits are broken up to show off their casual side in the ready-to-wear looks we have created. (Wool)trousers play around with additional width, and can be paired with a chunky pullover or hoodie under a jacket or coat. The soft jogging pants work great with a sports jacket. A mix of patterns turns heads. Checked jackets, striped waistcoats and plain trousers create an exciting yet harmonious mix of styles, not least because DIGEL produces all three designs using fabric with the same qualities. Warm and cosy, yet lightweight flannel materials play an important role here. And the colours? They range from grey-blue shades, through to camel, curry, cinnamon and a rich brown. Highly pigmented blue and cool green provide strong tones.
In 2019, DIGEL will celebrate its 80th anniversary. Following the retro trend, new brand milestones will be re-affirmed to mark the occasion. For example, the “Camoscio” jacket range is back in the spotlight to rekindle its former success, and leading the pack when it comes to both look and feel.
Stimulating the senses and conveying emotions remain crucial considerations in design, so instead of using a professional model for our new collection, the photo shoot was with one of the youngest Michelin-starred chefs, Danish Andreas Bagh, in his hometown environment of Copenhagen. The result is photos which really communicate something. DIGEL – The Menswear Concept: Fashion for real people with real stories.
