Initial inspiration has been taken from 1950s, looking at traditional chalk stripes, Donegal’s and checks but by applying modern finishing techniques for a fresh contemporary feel. By playing with the scale of the checks gives a new approach to the traditional designs.
Shadow checks and muted tartans are still key, and strongly feature in the tailoring collection.
Clashing Checks is an important trend for AW19, there is a monochrome story in a number of different designs and scale allowing this to be done in style.
Tweeds are still relevant, with a lofty and brushed finish for an updated feel. Contrast cord features on key items to give a luxurious textural element to the garments.
Herringbone Jackets and coats have a raised edge stitch applied for 3D definition.
The shirt collection features three different collar shapes, Cutaway, Penny round and tab collar in traditional striped cloths. These can be worn with the slim knitted ties or wide silk ties from the range.
The Knitwear collection includes Fairisle and dogtooth Tank tops, Chunky Shawl collar jumpers and Merion pieces in key colours.
