English heritage brand Crew Clothing will be attending the AW16 INDX shows this February...
We are delighted to confirm that English heritage brand Crew Clothing will be attending the AW16 INDX shows this February, beginning with Menswear on 3-4 and followed by Womenswear & Footwear on 10-12.
For AW16 the Crew ranges offer all the best elements of its Heritage handwriting plus a whole host of new product to give a modern and freesh feel.
AW16 carries many of the proven successes of the AW15 collections (such as the Foxy’s and Foxleys, ½ zip sweats and Breton knits) and the brand's signature Breton stripes appear in both gender ranges in new multi coloured layouts.
Phase 0 'Lighthearted' introduces an opening colour palette which focuses on blues; from sky and deep water through to ultramarine popped with bud green and washed cherry. New products such as the Dorchester travel blazer add an informal edge to the early Autumn season.
Phases 1 and 2 introduce a 'Town and Country' theme with a new Claverly Mac in navy which outfit builds perfectly when teamed with one of several white based checks or striped shirts. Key colours in these next phases are boysenberry and saffron which give a warmth and seasonality that perfectly compliment classic navy, grey and white.
Continuing to explore and expand their Heritage styles, Crew introduces a new merino knit polo and Swithland crew neck alongside new birdseye knit textures and jersey pieces.
The Womens opening palette also majors on blues, this time popped with sage green and classic pink for a fresh and feminine start to the season. Key prints include 'happy daisy' and 'flower pop' which are fresh and joyful alongside a re-coloured 'meadow' print (from SS16) which adds a ditzy touch.
In womens outerwear Crew's bestselling 'down' styles are re-introduced in 3 lengths; a gilet, mid length jacket and a coat, plus a great new parka - all these styles have fur trimmed hoods!
Keeping right on trend, Crew will also be introducing its alternative outwear pieces including the rib texture cardigan and the Ponte jersey group.
