Championing Product and Brand Diversity
Following a successful SS19 show which welcomed over 500 buyers and united over 190 brands across the industry, INDX Intimate Apparel will return to Cranmore Park, Solihull in February 2019 for a dazzling AW19 edition.
As the show's glowing reputation for offering unrivalled facilities and unparalleled product diversity spreads further through the industry, each season attracts more Buyers and secures a plethora of new brands, something which Amanda Partridge, the Show’s organiser is keen to maintain:
“It is important that the show continues to evolve and we are focused on presenting the finest selection of brands in the best buying environment possible. Our Buyers represent all types of retailers, from boutiques, to department stores and specialist outlets so it’s imperative that we present a strong and varied product mix”.
An all inclusive approach
As a Buyer herself, Amanda is well placed to recognise the challenges of an ever changing retail climate and is keen to address the increasing consumer demand for diversity and inclusivity:
“We are proud that our exhibitor list showcases ranges which cater to all customer needs, body shapes, sizes and silhouettes and features full-cup brands, breast-care and mastectomy experts, luxury labels, maternity specialists, hero sports brands and aspirational fashion”.
The ‘all-inclusive’ approach is working and support for the show is increasing season on season, something which is especially notable in the show’s growing overseas presence, both in Buyer footfall and brand attendance. The show has already built a very loyal UK footfall but the August show welcomed more Buyers from further afield with the Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands, Spain, France, Cyprus and Canada all being represented.
Agnieszka Sitarek, Buyer at Tynwald Mills Department store on the Isle of Mann cites the show’s product and brand diversity as the main reasons that her team make the journey to INDX each season:
“INDX Intimate Apparel is hugely product diverse, bringing together a host of industry names and introducing us to new brands each season. The show is always very buzzy and exciting and a great way to keep Buyers up to date with the latest trends. More importantly, it showcases a wide selection of brands for women of all shapes and sizes... We always have a very productive visit and fulfil our range plan needs, plus we go back to store with lots of new ideas to inspire ALL our customers”.
125 Brands signed up so far
The current list of confirmed exhibitors promises the latest ranges from over 125 brands with more being added every day. Global leaders such as Lise Charmel, Chantelle, Triumph and Wonderbra have already added their support to the show and UK Sales Manager Margaret Lythgoe explains why Wacoal Europe were among the first exhibitors keen to secure their space:
“INDX Intimate Apparel is a very busy and successful show for all of our brands and it's a key event in our global show calendar. INDX is well organised and well attended and it provides an efficient and effective platform for us to write serious orders with serious buyers.”
The February show will also host international icons such as DKNY, Guess Intimates, Jockey, Ralph Lauren, Puma and Hanro, as well as offering a strengthened seasonal edit of legwear and nightwear from brands including Pretty Polly, La Perla, CK Socks, Falke, Jonathan Aston, Elle, Aristoc, Cyberjammies, Cottonreal, Ringella, Taubert and Feraud.
