One day on the Orient Express, Andre Faller, an entrepreneur, met Lucienne who was passionate about dress-making and had been making her own lingerie from an early age.
That first encounter became a relationship, in turn a marriage and in 1946 they created Lou; the brand name inspired by the nickname Andre had given his wife.
Today, Lou is designed in Paris; an alluring and chic brand, encapsulating the essence of outstanding lingerie – luxurious, sensual, supportive, fashionable and ‘French’.
The AW16 collection is a 70th Anniversary salute to Lucienne and combines LOU’s technical expertise, with the use of traditional tulle and lace.
The range features expressive florals, stylised and oversized graphic prints and vintage lace whilst the colour palette includes black glitter, Bordeaux, violet, pinks and blues.
